Terms of sale
Last updated 3 November 2026
Sample policy for the Weftline demo store. Replace it with your own, reviewed by a lawyer for the countries you sell in.
These terms apply when you buy from the Weftline online store. They are written to be read: if anything is unclear, ask us before you order. Nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Who you’re buying from
Weftline, Lda., Rua das Flores 112, 4050-262 Porto, Portugal. Email hello@weftline.example.
Prices and taxes
- Prices are shown in your local currency and include VAT, sales tax and import duties for the US, UK and EU — there is nothing extra to pay on delivery.
- Delivery costs are shown before you pay. Standard delivery is free over the threshold shown in the store.
- If we ever show a clearly wrong price by mistake, we’ll contact you before shipping and you can cancel for a full refund.
Your order
When you place an order we email a confirmation. The contract is made when we email to say your order has shipped. Until then we may cancel an order — for example if an item sells out — and refund you in full straight away.
Payment
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order. Pay-later instalments are provided by a third party under their own terms.
Delivery
Delivery times and costs are on our Shipping page and at checkout. The parcel is yours, and its risk passes to you, when it is delivered to you or to someone you named. If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, tell us within 30 days and we’ll replace it or refund you.
Returns and your right to cancel
- You can return anything within 60 days of delivery, unworn with the label card attached, for a full refund. Returns are free in the US, UK and EU.
- In the EU and UK you also have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason. Our 60-day return covers this and gives you longer.
- We refund within 5 working days of your return reaching us, to your original payment method.
- For hygiene reasons, socks that have been worn can only be returned if faulty.
Faulty items and free repairs
Everything we sell must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If it isn’t, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under consumer law — in the EU for at least two years from delivery.
On top of your legal rights, we repair everyday wear for free for two years: seams, buttons, zips and small holes, with postage both ways. This doesn’t cover damage from accidents or alterations made elsewhere.
Accounts
You don’t need an account to buy. If you create one, keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You can delete your account at any time by emailing us.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking reasonable care. We aren’t responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable. Nothing here limits our liability where the law doesn’t allow it, including for death or injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you live elsewhere in the EU or in the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and can bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first — most problems are solved with an email.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one shown when you placed it.
